33 Great St Helen's
Welcome
Welcome to 33 Great St Helen’s.
The detached Queen Anne style house stands on a site owned by the Leathersellers’ Company since the reign of King Henry VIII. For centuries before then, the prioress of St Helen’s, an important Benedictine convent, had her lodgings here. The Company subsequently rebuilt the premises several times, and more recently carried out extensive repairs and remodelling in 1955, following WWII bomb damage.
In 2014 the building was remodelled once again to create the residential accommodation of four private guest rooms and accommodation for the Master and Clerk to the Company. We hope you enjoy your stay.
